Adam (CAST)
The role of Adam Domenici has been cast. Adam is a confident yet occasionally sheepish corporate hospitality inspector from Los Angeles. He is flirtatious, with unruly hair, and is sent to Kilgore, Texas for inspections after a professional mishap. Despite his laid-back demeanor, he is observant and maintains a sense of humor.

Laura is a confident and flirtatious woman in her 20s or 30s who works at High Hill Farm in Kilgore, Texas. A former "Rangerette," she is proud of her town and enjoys showcasing its "excellent experiences" to guests.
Floyd
Floyd is a cold, calculating, and possessive individual who relentlessly pursues Cheryl. He is manipulative and aggressive, ultimately holding Cheryl captive. He has a partnership with Liam, whom he often dominates.

Cheryl
Cheryl is a private, cautious, and resilient woman in her late 30s or 40s. She moved to Kilgore after a "fiasco" involving her former colleague Floyd, whose aggressive romantic advances she consistently rejects.
Janda
Janda is Cheryl's sister and Zane's mother, likely in her late 30s or early 40s. She is a loving, protective, and observant parent who relocated to Kilgore, Texas, and organizes family events like Cheryl's birthday.
Liam
Liam is Floyd's volatile and aggressive partner, often engaging in violent acts and struggling with intelligence. He is complicit in Floyd's plans, but frequently reprimanded for his lack of focus and control.
Zane
Zane is a 12-year-old boy in Kilgore, Texas, who is imaginative, adventurous, and occasionally mischievous. He's close to his mother, Janda, and demonstrates bravery when he stumbles upon a crime and calls 911.
Beatrice (Bea)
Bea Anglin is a calm, thoughtful, and amiable woman who enjoys her routine with her husband, Gus. She is a voice of reason, often tempering her friend Melinda's gossip with dry wit, and is welcoming to newcomers.
Buddy
Buddy is a 12-year-old boy from Kilgore, Texas, and Zane's friend. He is easily influenced, prone to worrying about trouble from his father, and more grounded in reality than his imaginative friend.
